Wheel Of Liverpool, Liverpool Arena, Kings Dock, Dukes Dock, Jurys Inn Hotel, Keel Wharf
Looking Back At Royal Albert Dock, Aerial Perspectives, Ground Level, Surrounding Features
Above The photograph shows The Dukes Dock (right), the Duke Dock Bridge can be seen (distant right).
The Jurys Inn
Hotel is on the left side of the frame.
The Liverpool
Arena (then called Liverpool Echo Arena) and Wheel of Liverpool are composed in
the central area of the image.
A Pizza Express restaurant is just below the Wheel Of Liverpool,
also shown in the
image are the lush green grass verges near The Dukes Dock and life in and around
the area.
Landmark
addresses, area locations discussed and in google Map links are confirmed near
the bottom of this page.
Above I took the photograph looking back at the Dukes Dock and
Bridge (Left).
The Wheel Of Liverpool, composed on the right, is framed between a gap in the
trees.
I used the Dukes Dock and surrounding greenery on the right to lead the eye into
the distance and used the Metropolitan Cathedral as a distant focal point.
Above The photograph was taken of The right side of The Liverpool Arena in 2008 (Liverpool Echo Arena), the water in the foreground is the Dukes Dock.
I was near Gower St and Kings Parade when taking the picture.
Wind
Turbines are on the right of the image.
I used the clouds
in the sky to “pull” the eye towards the image
Above an aerial Perspective of people relaxing on the Lawns by The Dukes Dock.
An Albert Dock sign can be seen on the architecture (left) and underneath there
is a sign for The Britannia Pavilion.
Radio City
Tower,
formerly St Johns Beacon
is captured above the surroundings on a
warm summers evening
Above Walls of Albert Dock (left), Dukes Dock, Duke Dock Bridge & surrounding lawns (centre).
Radio City Tower formerly St John's Beacon, (centre distance, slightly towards right) and is used as a focal point beyond the bridge.
The Metropolitan Cathedral is composed far right.
I used the bend in the wall to “draw” the eye into the photograph.
People can be seen relaxing on the lawns, just below the Royal Albert Dock sign
(left), passers-by can be seen distant right, approaching the flags
