Atmospheres and light patterns

Taken as evening falls,  

In and around an architectural masterpiece!

Above The last rays of sun begin disappearing from the distant sky as evening falls on The Royal Albert Dock Liverpool.

The angle taken depicts The Piermasters House silhouetted in the distant left/middle of the photograph.

Above Taken later on the same evening as the previous photograph.

The suns rays have now virtually vanished (distant left), also the clouds have disappeared, leaving a clear blue sky.

The Royal Albert Dock’s lighting scheme is switched on and the docks columns are reflected in the water (left).

Vessels are silhouetted in the Dock.

There is as warm orange glow coming  from the lighting on the right, contrasting with shadows.

A small halfmoon has faintly appeared in the sky (left).

Above Photographed in the same part of The Dock.

Vessels are included to add further interest and a white vessel is used as a focal point (left).

The docks red Columns are used to frame the composition, which reflect in the surrounding water, as the evening begins...

A Tall Ship Is Berthed in The Canning Half Tide Dock.

As thick clouds hover above the vessel, the final rays from the setting sun can be seen just below the surroundings.
