Yellow Submarine

Chavasse Park, Liverpool.
This full-size replica of the Beatles' Yellow Submarine was  built for the 1984 International Garden Festival. It is now placed in Chavasse Park (across from the Albert Dock).

Before Garden Festival
Made by apprentices at Cammell Lairds. It was then taken over to the Garden Festival in Apple gardens 1984'. 

After Festival 
After festival, just went rotting on site itself. 
Liverpool Architecture & Design Trust took over in the year 2000 and took it to a Council Depot, Prescot Rd Old Swan near Edge Lane and was restored there by Repair and Maintenance trainees and has been at Chavasse Park since August 2001.
