The view of Hope Street is blessed with two Cathedrals, symbolizing two of the Christian cultures in Liverpool. 
The buildings are dramatically 
different in appearance.

The Appearance of the Anglican Cathedral (right) stretches out like the wings of a Guardian Angel watching over the city, whilst the Metropolitan Cathedral’s design (above) gives the appearance of pointing towards heaven

By having two Cathedrals 
in the one city 
and viewed in the one street 
makes Liverpool unique.
