The Liver Building Cunard Building and Port Of Liverpool Building are on the right of the frame.
After being berthed in Liverpool, she made her final voyage and was officially retired from active Cunard service in 2008, resting in Dubai and is now used as a floating hotel.
It was as iconic to see the QE2 in Liverpool in 2008, Liverpool’s year as European Capital Of Culture.
The QE2 Liner is of course a Cunard liner.
Cunard was founded in Liverpool 1840 by Samuel Cunard and its head office remained in the city until 1967.
Today the Cunard Building is one of the landmarks known as the Three Graces (along with the Royal Liver Building and the Port of Liverpool Building)
