Main Theme (Display Boards)

My objective was to depict tranquillity using a variety of subject matters on Merseyside.

People think of tranquillity in many ways

Religious, symbolic, images of reflections and the natural world

A definition for Tranquillity: Quality or sense of being tranquil; calmness; peacefulness; quiet; serenity

Other Subject Matters (Images On Tables)

Images Of Merseyside, most notably the visit of The Three Queens May ’15.

I also gave a preview of a project called “Pretty Women And Liverpool II”, top local models, singers and dancers posed voluntary for me.

“Tagging” the girls in my photographs on social media, drew more attention the objective of my photography, to raise money And Awareness for Leukaemia And Lymphoma Research.

The popularity of Pretty Women And Liverpool encouraged my to produce Pretty Woman And Liverpool II as part of a future exhibition

(see more details and poster preview images further below)

Motivation

The exhibition uses photography to raise money and awareness for Leukaemia And Lymphoma Research.

I am an official supporter of Leukaemia And Lymphoma Research.

I have fought and beat a rare and deadly form of Leukaemia twice (2004 and 2007). This is my way of “Giving something back” after all the life saving treatment that was given to me.

About The Photographer

I also suffer with secondary progressive Multiple Sclerosis (since 2001). I have a chaperone/carer to take me to the destination of each assignment, and assemble my equipment.

PLEASE DO NOT TAKE PICTURES

AT EXHIBITION

I have made great effort due to my disability to take these pictures. All models involved have been sent files via email of pictures taken. The main purpose for these pictures is to raise money and awareness for Leukaemia And Lymphoma Research. I have suffered a rare and deadly form of Leukaemia twice.

This is my way of “Giving something back”, therefore I want people to understand why there will be no photography permitted at all at my exhibition, with any photographic device. I appreciate your support and look forward to meeting you at my exhibition.
